What does Mutch Consult do?
Mutch Consult is a business advisory and AI consulting firm in Pretoria. We write funder-ready business plans and financial models, build ISO 9001 quality systems, analyse board packs with AI for directors, set up AI bookkeeping, and design custom websites for South African businesses.

Lesetša Mutchinya, founder and principal consultant. Three decades across finance, operations and non-executive directorship, and the founder of real operating businesses in manufacturing and construction retail. You work directly with that experience rather than with a junior on an account.
What makes a business plan funder-ready?
A funder-ready plan answers the questions a credit committee actually asks, with a financial model underneath it rather than beside it. Assumptions have to be defensible, the numbers must reconcile, and the risks must be named in the document instead of discovered by the funder.
How long does a business plan take, and what do you need from me?
Days rather than months, once we have your inputs. We need what the business does, who buys from it, your costs and pricing, and any figures you already have. Where records are thin we build the model from first principles and show you every assumption.
Can you help us get ISO 9001 certified?
Yes. We author the documented quality management system and the supporting procedures a certifying body will ask for. For CNai we produced 17 ISO 9001 documents. Certification itself is awarded by an accredited body, not by us, and we prepare you for that audit.
What is board governance AI?
AI-assisted analysis of a board pack before the meeting. It reads several hundred pages and surfaces what is missing, what contradicts an earlier pack, and what a director should question. It does not replace judgement, it makes sure nothing important is buried in an appendix.
Do you do bookkeeping, or only advisory?
Both. AI-assisted bookkeeping and management accounts run as a monthly service, separately from project advisory work. It suits owners who need accurate monthly numbers to make decisions on, not just a set of annual financial statements twelve months late.
I want to buy or sell a business. Where do we start?
Start with what it is worth. There is a free indicative valuation on this site that runs entirely in your browser, and we prepare formal valuations for negotiation. From there the work is preparing the business so its earnings are provable, and supporting you through the negotiation.
How do you charge for advisory work?
Per engagement, scoped and quoted before anything starts, and fixed fee wherever the scope allows. You will know the number before we begin. Recurring services such as bookkeeping and website care plans are quoted monthly.
